Hunt Of a Lifetime
The Wild Sheep Society of BC is excited to release our first ever “Hunt of Lifetime” raffle!
With mounting pressure on sheep habitat and ongoing disease risk from domestic to wild sheep throughout our province, it has never been more important to protect our wild herds. We believe the proceeds from this raffle will provide a fundamental contribution towards our ongoing wild sheep conservation and enhancement efforts and will springboard the WSSBC to the next level as a respected conservation organization!
IN ADDITION, we have designed this draw with BC sportsmen and sportswomen in mind! The grand prize winner will have an opportunity to hunt one of BC’s most unique and hardest to draw species, the Roosevelt Elk! There are 3 ways to purchase your raffle tickets:

When, where and how will the draw take place?
8:00 PM, March 14, 2015 at WSSBC’s 22nd Annual Convention and Fundraiser, Delta Grande Hotel, Kelowna, BC. Tickets will be compiled and winners randomly selected.
Can I buy more than 1 ticket?
Yes, there are no limits on the number of tickets purchased
What are the retail values of the prizes to be awarded?
- Grand prize - $22,000
Second Prize - $5,000
- Third Prize - $3774.37
How many tickets will be sold?
3500Do I need to be a WSSBC member to purchase tickets?
NoDo I need to be present at the drawing to claim a prize?
No, if you are not present at the draw then we will contact you by phone or email (make sure to provide all your contact info on the ticket stub). Your name will also be posted on our website within 72 hours of the draw.
I am not a BC resident; can I still purchase a ticket?
Yes, but tickets may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia. Your tickets CANNOT be shipped to a 3rd party BC address.
Can I purchase tickets and put a friend’s name on them?
Yes, even if they are a non-resident
Can I purchase tickets and put a minor’s name on it?
Yes, if their ticket is drawn the prize must be delivered to that minor’s parent, guardian or legal trustee. The minor cannot purchase the ticket themselves.
I want tickets but live out of town; can I purchase tickets over the phone?

Can I transfer the prize(s) into someone else’s name?
YesWhere/how are the proceeds of this raffle used?
The proceeds from this raffle will go directly to the Wild Sheep Society of BC and will be used toward the following with the priority being #1:
1. Wild Sheep conservation projects including research, habitat enhancement projects, transplants and wild/domestic disease transfer issues within BC
2. Venue rental for our Annual Convention and Fundraiser
3. WSSBC quarterly printed magazine
